- What is a webcam model?
- A webcam model is a person that performs live video chats online. The more time a customer spends watching your private show the more money you will earn. Models should tell their clients upfront what they are willing to do and not willing to do so there is not a misunderstanding. Generally, webcam models are asked to pose nude and it is considered to be part of the job.
- Do I need to look like a model?
- No, its not all about looks. Your personality will determine how successful you are. Each customer is looking for a unique type of model. We only recommend you should try to look your best as you’ll feel great, feel confident and you will naturally be ready to have some fun!
- How much can I earn?
- You will get paid every minute a customer is watching your private show. We pay our models anywhere from 60p - £1 a minute for each customer in premium and exclusive chat. In premium chat, more than one customer can be in your room. For example, if there are 10 customers you will earn anywhere from £6 - £10 a minute. On average our models make anywhere from £250 to £2000 a week which works out about £30 - £60 an hour with some models earning in excess of £5000 per week!
- How often will I get paid?
- We currently pay our webcam models weekly. However, there is a one week hold on every payment. For example, for the first weeks pay you will get paid at the end of your second week. Our payment period runs from Sunday to Sunday. E.g
- Week one: Work week one
- Week two: Work week two, receive payment for week one
- Week three: Work week three, receive payment for week two
- How do I get paid?
- We currently pay our models via Paypal services for models located in the UK, Models outside the UK will be subject to exchange rates set by their country.
- Will I show up as a webcam model on a background check?
- No. As you are self employed and are contracted through us there isn't any need to let anyone know, either in any current or future job roles. The records will only show that you are a self-employed contractor with Morgan Multimedia Group.
- Is my personal information kept private?
- Of course, we absolutely do not share your information with anyone. Your information is only used for your initial approval and payments. You can also block out cities, counties, and even whole countries to help protect your identity.
- Can I block out certain areas so people I know can’t see me?
- Yes. As a webcam model, you should feel safe and secure. We have a geographic restriction feature so you can block out cities, counties, and even whole countries. Keep in mind the more areas you block the less traffic you will get.
- I don’t live in the UK, can I still work?
- Yes, we have models from all over the world working for us, you just need a valid government issued transportation type ID, or Passport.
- What do I need?
- You need to be 18 years old or over and will be asked to provide a copy of relevant identification. You will also need:
- Desktop PC, or laptop (a Mac will also work)
- Webcam – HD to maximize your earnings (recommended)
- High speed internet connection with an upload speed above 0.65 MB/s. You can test your speed at speedtest.net. We recommend a HD webcam capable of streaming in 720P.
- Are there any fees at all?
- No not at all, we do not ask for any fees from you, it’s completely free!
- How do I become a successful Webcam model?
- Being successful in the webcam modeling industry starts with being reliable to your customers. Whether its publicizing your schedule and sticking to it, or giving your customers the experience they're after, the biggest tip we give new models is to just keep broadcasting often.
